Data We Process

Audio Router Switch processes the sound from a tab only after you choose to route it. The extension does not read, store, or transmit page content.

Local Storage

The extension stores per-tab device preferences in browser local storage (key pattern: audioRouterDevice:tabId). This data is automatically cleaned up when tabs are closed. No audio data is ever stored.

Audio Data

Audio sent to speakers or headphones stays on your computer. If you choose Play on phone, the live sound is encrypted while it travels to the phone you approve. A relay may carry that encrypted stream when a direct connection is unavailable. Audio is not recorded or stored by Audio Router Switch.

Phone Pairing

A four-digit code creates a temporary session. The code, short-lived connection credentials, connection status, IP address, and basic network metadata may be processed to connect your computer and phone, prevent abuse, and end the session. Pairing data is removed when the session ends or expires.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Audio Router Switch does not store full credit card numbers.

• activeTab — Identify the current tab to route its audio
• tabCapture — Capture tab audio streams
• offscreen — Keep routed audio playing after the popup closes
• storage — Remember device preference per tab
